A workshop on marine biosecurity science and technology was held in Nelson on the 24th July. The event combined the annual meeting of the Top-of-the-South Marine Biosecurity Partnership and the annual research forum held by NIWA and the Cawthron Institute.

The meeting brought together more than 80 researchers and biosecurity practitioners to discuss current developments in marine biosecurity science, technology and practice. It was timed to precede the New Zealand Biosecurity Institute's 2018 education and training conference (NETS 2018).

Presentations from the workshop and a summary of discussions can be viewed at the Top-of-the-South Partnership's website.
